A Most Extraordinary Journey of Self-discovery by Eliza James is the author’s honest recounting of her spiritual journey under the guidance of St. Germain of the 18th century. She acknowledges St. Germain for his guidance with love and compassion that helped her realize her inner self and her relationship with God.

The prose is faith-driven and written with honesty. The interactions and conversations are insightful and discuss the concept of God, unconditional love, the illusory nature of reality, the process of enlightenment, love and power, forgiveness, the “Christos” experience, Luciferic mythology, the evolution of consciousness, ego, etc. The interpretation of Lucifer as Satan has been discussed from a different perspective and is worth contemplating.

The book is a sincere presentation of the author’s experiences and beliefs. It is highly spiritual, philosophical, and based on faith in St. Germain and his powers. The prose is engaging and full of wisdom, although sometimes difficult to immediately comprehend, which requires rereading.

Overall, the book is a serious and compelling read for spiritually inclined people - The message of the book is that all religions lead to the same Creator, albeit through different paths. This is a book not to be read in haste; it requires slow reading to savor every bit of the text.
